Procedure to configure NS 5100 to work as hyprid CDC

Hardware part

1- From Genset side , from Genset control panel select the two points by which we can control
generator ON/OFF so that when shorted togther Genet should start and keep runing whenever
those pins is closed / shorted and goes off when it opens (pls test before proceed )
2- Connect two wires from the bove descriped points in DG to Relay 8 in our IB2 board In NS5100
subrack in the upper comprtment . choose Normally close (NC ) pins as per fig below
Software Part

3- After you login to the NCU we page , pls select advanced setting – Generator tab – enable to see
the below page then change setting as shown in the below figures 1-2
During the normal discharge cycle there are some alarms that will be fired normally but client needs to
subress to avoid fake remedy tickets .

1- Suppress CAN comunication Failure alarm

From Advanced setting – Alarms – select Power system – Modify to NA

To suppress Mains Failure alarm same page above scrolling down to 287 – set to NA
From Di alarm page

Advaced setting – Alarms - Rectifier Ac page-modify to NA

Temp compensation future should refer to battery sensor (Temperature 1)

From settings - quick setting page -
