On behalf of the International Radiation Protection Association (IRPA), I am pleased to invite you
to participate in the annual IRPA Executive Council Meeting as a member of the IRPA Executive
Council for the period 2021-2028, scheduled from Wednesady May 10 to Friday May 12, 2023,
in the city of Valencia (Spain).

The Agenda of this annual meeting will include the discussion of all topics related the IRPA
Strategic Plan 2021-2024 and a special visit to the Valencia Conference Centre (Palacio de
Congresos) where the Spanish Radiation Protection Society (SEPR) plans to host the
International Congress of the International Radiation Protection Association (IRPA17) in 2028.
SEPR is making all local arrangements to organize the IRPA Executive Council Meeting and
visit.

For your participation in the IRPA Executive Council Meeting, IRPA will provide you the
necessary financial support through the IRPA Treasurer.

It may be necessary for you to contact the Spanish Emabssy in Accra to make arrangements
for your participation in the meeting in Valencia and, if required, to obtain the necessary travel
documents to be permitted entry to Spain. Should you accept this letter of invitation and if
necessary a letter in support of your visa application we would be pleased to arrange it with the
local organizar to provide one.
