K-What I know about the Rizal Law?

Republic Act No.1425, also known as the "Rizal Law," is an act that authorizes the
printing and distribution of Jose Rizal's novels Noli Me Tangere and El Filibusterismo, and
include in the curriculum of all public and private schools, colleges, and universities his story
like his life, works, and writing.

F-What I feel about the RA 1425?

When it was still a bill, in which catholic church groups interpreted its content as being
harmful as it would violate freedom of conscience and religion, with this experience, we can see
that it has great importance in everyone's life if ever it will be approved. I believe it only serves
to remind future generations of what it means to learn Jose P. Rizal's sacrifices and dedication, as
well as how his works are a powerful guide to encourage youth to practice nationalism and
patriotism.

D-Did knowing about the Rizal Law made a difference?

Yes, by learning about Rizal's life, teachings, and writings, Filipino youth will be able to
gain invincible confidence, develop moral character, personal discipline, and civic conscience,
and move forward in our country's journey towards freedom and evolution for which our dear
heroes fought and died.
