LPT ROTOR PARTS - INSPECTION

TASK 05-21-05-200-001

1. General.

A. This section contains the FAA and EASA mandatory inspections for the
parts in the LPT rotor assembly.

2. Mandatory Inspections.

Subtask 05-21-05-220-051

A. Specified parts must be fluorescent-penetrant inspected (FPI) and

magnetic particle inspected (MPI) as specified in the piece part
sections of the engine shop manual, at each piece part exposure.
(1) Piece part exposure is defined as follows:
(a) The part is completely disassembled in accordance with the
disassembly instructions in the engine shop manual.
(b) The part has accumulated more than 100 cycles in service
since the last piece part opportunity inspection, provided
that the part was not damaged or related to the cause for
its removal from the engine.

B. The following parts are subject to the mandatory inspections:
