out of stock. The other item is still in submitted status and has not been
canceled.

authorization hold to release onto your original payment method for the pair that
was canceled.

Sarah S (30/12/2022, 08:29:53): At checkout you have a pre-authorization hold
placed on the card, when the item ships, the pre-authorization is refunded and then
you are only charged for the item which ships.
