 INTRODUCTION
Pollution is the introduction of contaminants into the natural
environment that cause adverse change. Pollution is also the
introduction of harmful materials into the environment.
There are three major types of pollution.
The three major types of pollution are air pollution, water pollution
and land pollution.

 Air Pollution Case In Malaysia
- Kuala Lumpur 21 March 2021: Seven areas recorded air quality
status readings at an unhealthy level.
- The Minister of Environment and Water,said that the cause of the
unhealthy air quality was the increase in open burning cases in the
country following the hot and dry weather.
- According to him, open burning from peat farming activities in
Johan Setia, Klang which was first detected on 5 February last
with five fire locations.

- SHAH ALAM: The year 2020 saw Selangor go through nine
contaminations of raw water sources and eight water supply

the Klang Valley.

- KUANTAN - The Malaysian Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM) Pahang is now
preparing to face the possibility of peatland and bush fires due to the
current hot weather.
- The director of JBPM Pahang said that the risk of fire is quite high in that
area.

including open burning or other factors in the area.
