Task Description
The task is to mark how the provided song is related to the provided video.
Term ‘provided song’ refers to the song descriptions and music URL on the left side of the
hitapp.
Term ‘provided video’ refers to the YouTube video of the song on the right side of the hitapp.
We provide you a description of a song and a video and we want you to judge if the provided
song and the song from the video are matched. The description of a song consists of title, artist,
album, genre, release date, album cover and a song URL on Apple Music or iTunes where you
are able to listen to the preview of the song.
The video provided is a song video on a YouTube channel.
· Analyze the provided song. Read the song description carefully and listen to a preview
of the song to be able to fully identify the song.
· Analyze the provided video of the song. Carefully read the title and artist of the song.
Play the video and identify if the video is streaming the same song as the provided song.
Pay attention if the video is uploaded from a channel of official representative of the
artist. You can identify official channels by music icon next to the channel name.
· Select the appropriate label for how the song is mapped to the video.
Your task is to judge the relationship between the video and the song: Official, Correct, Other
version, or Not Matching.
· Official: The provided video is a video uploaded from a channel of official representative
of the artist. The audio of the provided video is exactly matching the provided song. The
video is an official music video.
· Correct: The match is not official, but the audio of the provided video is exactly
matching the provided song, independent of channel or video content.
· Other version: The song of the provided video is correct, but the version is different
from the provided song. For example: different language, live performance, remake, etc.
Please note, for example if content of the provided video is a live performance, but audio of the
provided video and provided song match exactly, it is a correct match as a good match doesn’t
depend on video content.
· Not Matching: the provided video is not streaming the provided song.
