Omni Group’s Head Office is to have Monday to Friday as working days per week. Standard working
hours of 9 AM to 6 PM with one hour break for Namaz & lunch from 1 PM to 2 PM will be observed. On
Fridays the break will be from 1 PM to 3 PM.
GRACE TIME
To cater for the heavy morning traffic, rush in public transport and distances from residence of the
employees, 30 minutes of grace time will be exercised at Head Office, for arrival in the morning.
However, closing time for the day will deem to be increased for the concerned individual, extending it
by the period of being late over 9 AM.
Any employee arriving after 9:30 AM will be marked late on that day. He will also have to work for the
extended time as described for those arriving within grace period. Three (3) late comings in a month
will result in deduction of one day’s leave from employee’s annual leave balance or one day’s
salary if annual leave balance is not available. Employees coming to work after 11 AM will be required
to submit application for half day leave for regularisation of the absence from the place of duty.
Working hours for the sites of Omni Group will be according to their respective shift schedules unless
otherwise notified by Admin offices under the instructions of their General Managers.
ATTENDANCE RECORDS
HR will be responsible to ensure effective recording and monitoring of the attendance at head
office. IT will provide technical support for the purpose.
HR will maintain leave record of the employees and prepare report on the regular and irregular
absence of the employees for assessment of punctuality of the individual.
HOLIDAYS

All gazetted and non gazetted public holidays announced by the Federal Government shall also be
observed as holiday at Head Office and at offices at Sites unless otherwise officially notified.
At the end of crushing season, all Sugar Sites are allowed to observe 3 days as Crop Over holidays for
the purpose of giving rest and recreation to all site staff. Those deployed on essential duties by the
respective HODs will continue to be on duty for which they will be compensated by granting three off
days after return of other employees. List of employees not being granted crop over holidays and being
sent on off days subsequently, is to be provided by sites to Head Office for record.
