Assignment2: Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) for Proposed Project

Objective:
To develop a comprehensive Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) report for the proposed
project, including a fully detailed Terms of Reference (TOR) and identification of potential
impacts and their mitigation measures.

Tasks:

• Select a proposed project for development (e.g., a residential complex, industrial park,
commercial building, etc.).
• Identify the location of the project and conduct a site assessment to gather information
about the existing environmental conditions of the site.
• Develop a fully detailed Terms of Reference (TOR) for the proposed project, including a
description of the proposed activities, potential environmental impacts, methodologies
for conducting environmental studies, and details on the proposed mitigation measures.
• Identify potential environmental impacts associated with the proposed project, including
impacts on air quality, water quality, noise pollution, land use, biodiversity, and cultural
heritage sites.
• Develop a mitigation plan for each identified impact, including the selection of
appropriate mitigation measures to minimize the impact.
• Prepare a comprehensive Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) report, which
includes the TOR, site assessment findings, identification of potential impacts, and
mitigation measures.

Deliverables:
