UAMM:

 stands for Unreliable Airspeed Mitigation Means

is an Airbus multi-systems functions applicable to A320 family and A330 family

objective is to enhance safety by helping the pilots to detect invalid information and select the relevant
speed information

UAMM Steps

UAMM development plan is composed of 3 steps :


 Step1
For A/C fitted with BUSS, provide capability to display the BUSS in a reversible manner

 Step2
Computation of an additional Backup Speed independent from Anemometry data
Information on the validity of the ADR speeds =>Flag detected erroneous speed (In accordance with
BEA recommendation FRAN-2012-049)
Provide the appropriate ADR switching position by ECAM procedure
With the Backup speed, display of Backup MACH, GPIRS Alt and Vz and inertial bird

 Step3 (Applicable to NEO engines)


Consolidate back-up speed information using pressure measurements coming from engine
