D. SKETCH

E. RESULTS (DISCUSSION AND CONCLUSION)

In this laboratory activity, we have realized the use of different instruments

to be able to distinguish different levels of a given specific field. To start this
activity, we plotted 6 stations where we put leveling rods to each of it. In between
2 stations, we measure the level of the ground by using the automatic level
equipment as the eye piece in order to witness the measurement of the elevation
of both the foresight and backsight. With those measurements we had, we have
solved for different values like the height of the instrument and its exact
elevation. On its height, we use the initial value of elevation which is 100 since
elevation values were still unknown. After computing both, we also calculated the
error we might have had in terms of exact measurements. With the resulting
errors, we conclude that the measurements and processes we had were reliable
since the error was exactly the same as the difference of the summations of
foresight and backsight levels.
