Greetings to Dignitaries…

First and foremost, allow me to express my heartfelt

gratitude to everyone. I am very humbled by your invitation to
join you here today. In all sincerity, I would like to grab this
opportunity to express my profound gratitude for your pastoral
works and your continuous selfless effort to provide support
services to the men and women of the uniformed services,
especially to the PNP. The entire PNP organization especially we
in Chaplain Service are deeply honored by your pastoral
commitment. Without a doubt, your voluntary service would help
the PNP achieve its Vision and Mission.
Meanwhile, coming over here gives me the notion that this is
the perfect assembly to promote the KASIMBAYANAN or
Kapulisan, Simbahan, at Pamayanan program of our Chief PNP,
General RODOLFO S AZURIN JR. This is a community mobilization
program highlighting the collaborative partnership between the
PNP and the general public through the intervention and help of
the religious sector towards the goal of a holistic transformation
that involves the PNP and the community it serves and protects.
In this program, the PNP along with the valuable support of the
religious sector intends to reach out to the different communities

to inform them that crimes committed by every citizen are not
only violations of local ordinances but in reality, violations of
God’s commandments; that Internal Cleansing in the PNP
requires the active participation of the community by their faithful
observance of existing laws; and that crime prevention is a duty
of every citizen to his/her country and ultimately to God.
Evidently, the PNP with the support of the religious sector aims to
strengthen its partnership with the general public and bring
awareness to the various communities that the PNP personnel
and the people they serve have a vital role in contributing to
peace, order, progress, and even holistic transformation of the
society. After all, the maintenance of peace and order is always a
shared responsibility between the people and the police. Taking
everything into account, the role of the religious sector is very
significant in this program.

In my humble capacity as the Director of the PNP Chaplain

service, may I encourage you to march forward with us in tandem
with our Multi-Faith Based Partners. Let us reach out to the entire
PNP organization and promote spiritual beatitude or strengthen
the character and ethical standard of every PNP personnel. At the
same time, you could bridge the relationship between the PNP
and the general public when you campaign to your brethren from
your respective churches and pastoral communities, the plans and

programs of the PNP much more its public service endeavors.
Make your respective congregations realize through your
testimonies that the PNP organization generally works to serve
and protect. On the other hand, you can also serve as our eyes
and ears and bring to our attention what the community wants
from us, especially on how to access our services to them.
Through you, we can now access the active participation of the
public in our peace and order operations and community-building
agenda.

Again and again, I am really honored by your selfless

commitment. The Chaplain Service stands so few to reach out
across the entire PNP organization and perform our fundamental
responsibilities. That is how much you all mean to us, our
voluntary, committed, and selfless force multipliers! What could
be more dignified and noble than to commit to the works for the
greater glory of the Almighty and His heavenly kingdom.
