URGENT EMPLOYMENT NOTICE

Caritas Bangladesh (CB) is a national and nonprofit development organization that has been
operating in Bangladesh since 1967. It has its Central Office in Dhaka and eight Regional Offices
(Barishal, Chattogram, Dhaka, Dinajpur, Khulna, Mymensingh, Rajshahi, and Sylhet Region). CB is
currently implementing 89 projects covering 189 Upazilas focusing on six main priorities: i) Social
Welfare for Vulnerable Communities (SWVC), ii) Education and Child Development, iii) Nutrition
and Health Education, iv) Disaster Management, v) Ecological Conservation and Food Security
(ECFS), and vi) Development of Indigenous Peoples.

Caritas Bangladesh (CB), Emergency Response Program (ERP), Cox’s Bazar is looking for a suitable
candidate for an immediate appointment of a Data Collector (Monitoring) as well as to prepare a
panel list for Emergency Response to the Forcibly Displaced People of Myanmar in Bangladesh
project.

Salary : 27,500 BDT per month.

Educational Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in any discipline, preferably with honors from any recognized university.
Education qualifications may relax those who have working experiences in the context of the
Rohingya crisis.
Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies Requirements
 Minimum 02 years of working experience in a similar job in any NGO/INGO. (Women will be
given special priority)
 Proven experience working in the emergency setting and extensive knowledge of the Rohingya
and local culture and context.
 High interpersonal skills and cultural sensitivity to effectively interact with refugees and local
communities.
 Strong verbal communication skills in the Rohingya Language.
 Should be able to handle multiple tasks and manage priorities.
 Committed to working following organizational objectives, values, principles, and policies.
 Have good knowledge of safeguarding-related policies, GBV, Child protection policies, and
other relevant policies.
Job Responsibilities
 Engage with the M&E activities of the project at Camp and the Host Community.
 Implement monitoring tools in the project.
 Undertake field visits at the project area and collect data for project monitoring.
 Conduct Post Distribution and Post Implementation Monitoring surveys, baseline survey,
Midline, and End line surveys on the family profile of the project working/ implementing areas
under the guidance of Manager MEAL.
 Regularly update the community-based database.
 Monitor the progress and performance of the project activities.
 Provide all the necessary information, success stories, and learning for preparing quarterly
reports.
 Assist in research activities, study/evaluation process, and data compilation and data collection
in preparation for the study/evaluation report of the Project.
