RULEBOOK

FORMAT
 200 Participants
 6 groups of 32 players and 1 group of 8 players
 Top 5 from the 32-player group and top 2 from the 8-player
group will be picked for next rounds
 Point deficit will be considered to finalize the top 5 from the
group of 32 people
 Short 7-point matches for qualification till top 32 to manage time
and keep players fresh
 126 short matches of 7 points
 12 matches of 11 points
 12 full matches of 3 sets and 11 points
 Total of 150 matches will be played
 1 set of 11 points in top 32
 3 sets of 11 points post top 16
 Standard badminton rules to be followed
INVENTORY
 Minimum 25 number of rackets and 30 shuttlecocks
 3 nets
 Powder or tape for line markings
 Basketball court can be used as multiple matches will take place
at the same time
 Participants to be encouraged to bring their own rackets
 Winner and runner ups trophy with price money(optional)
 Extra rackets can be borrowed temporarily from sport
organisers
 Participants that use those borrowed rackets can be charged
some amount to make the event financially stable
 First Aid kits in case of injury
 Chairs for audience
 DSLR camera
 T shirts for organisers
 Mic and Sound system
 Snacks and beverages for refreshment
RULES AND REGULATIONS

 Referee’s decision will be final


 Players found arguing or misbehaving with the referee or
anyone else shall be disqualified
 Players will be responsible for their own possessions
 Players that are not present on time can be disqualified
VOLUNTEERS
 5 Referees
 10 Volunteers to manage the crowd
 2 presenters to announce results and engage the audience
