4.What do you think did the author/s do I think the author/s proceeded solving the
with the identified problem as identified problem from the title. The
presented in the titles? author did readings for literature and
Relevant studies regarding the problem.
The problem became the main focus of
the study and the solutions and
recommendations is provided.
Analyze
Let us continue to examine and analyze what you have noticed and interpreted in the previous
activity.
Based on the reading you made and the previous activity that you have done 1.
What significant ideas or concepts have you learned about action research?
I learned the vital stages to becoming an effective teacher who is concerned with both
their personal development and the development of the students. Finding the gaps in the
teaching requires a critical analysis of action research. We will be willing to ask the issues
we encountered and provide field solutions through action research.
2. Have you realized that there is a need to be an action researcher as a future teacher?
Yes_✓_ No__. If yes complete the sentence below
Observe
• I have observed and noticed that action research begins with the problem or problematic
situation.
Write an example of problematic situation that you have observe and noticed
That a PowerPoint presentation is provided by the trainer in an online class. He/she does,
however, believe that student-teacher interaction is essential for an efficient teaching and
learning process. The students are reluctant to contribute to the discussion and cooperate since
they are trying to adjust from in-person to online classes. Let's pretend for the purposes of the
this problem that the teachers and students had never met in person but were only introduced
through the online course.
(AIM)” to stimulate, motivate and sustain pupils’ interest in Mathematics and 4) improve the
teaching strategy in Mathematics through AIM. The study was conducted for two quarters from
June-October 2015(1st and 2nd Grading) with 46 pupils as the target subjects. The study made
use of the one -shot experimental design to look into the effectiveness of “Arts In Math (AIM)”
in improving pupils’ performance in Mathematics.
The findings showed that the use of Arts In Math (AIM) enhanced the performance of Grade
VI-C Pupils in Mathematics. For the first quarter, there was an increase of 34.13 in the MPS
and 29.79 for the second quarter. Using the t-test of the difference between means of
correlated data, the t- test computed value of 23.71 for the first quarter and 32.37 for the
second quarter is more than the critical value of 1.676 at 0.05 level of significance with 45
degrees of freedom.
