ESSAY
What do you think is the implication of Sex Education inclusion in school curriculum? Explain your
answer.

I think implication of Sex Education inclusion in school curriculum would be very great since we all know that
the Philippines has a high rate of teenage pregnancy and I think it is because of the lack of sexual knowledge. If
everyone has a knowledge about sex, about safe sex and using contraceptives as to avoid getting unplanned
pregnancies and reproductive diseases I think the rate of teenage pregnancy will surely go down and the population
will be surely developed as people get educated on how to have a safe and effective sex. Sexual education in public
schools aims to provide accessible, accurate, inclusive, and positive information to children and adolescents The goal
is to teach young people how to have healthy sexual relationships and avoid sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and
unplanned pregnancies. We must all be openminded to the situation and do not underestimate the effect of teenage
pregnancies and STIs. Sex education will prepare the youth in their teenage life, as a youth I can say that the curiosity
of us youth will just be satisfied through experience and if the youth is prepared it will highly succeed. We can’t
handle the feelings of the teens but we can educate them on doing it in the proper way.
