1. In your own words, define history.

Knowing about and studying the past is called history. It tells the story
of the past. History is the story of who we are, where we have come
from, and may also provide insight into where we are going.

2. Why do we need to study history?

History is something that helps in our ability to recall the past and
improve our decision-making in the future.History is about the
important past events that had a large impact back in the day, which
contributed to the removal and or addition of certain things that build
up our society today.
