eastern states of Arunachal Pradesh and Meghalaya.( Life in the Ganga-
Brahmaputra Basin)
• Study the 2-dimensional figures or pictorial activities (poster making) and relate
it to Social Science .
• Observe the rich culture and tourist attractions of Arunachal Pradesh and
Meghalaya .

MATERIAL REQUIRED:

Colouring material like crayons, oil pastels, water colour etc,

Painting surfaces such as papers of various kinds and quality, like smooth, rough, thick, thin, etc.

TASK FOR THE STUDENT

1. Students will make an interesting and colourful poster on the festival allotted.

• Understand the ways different tribes of Arunachal Pradesh and Meghalaya

celebrate their festivals.

• Learn about the traditional costumes of Arunachal Pradesh and Meghalaya.

• Hence relate the form of art with Social Science.

MATERIAL REQUIRED:

A4 sheet, writing material,pictures of the festival and information and pictures of the
festivals allotted to each group

TASK FOR THE STUDENT

1. Each student shall prepare a flyer on the festival of Arunachal Pradesh / Meghalaya
allotted to his/her group and write five points on that festival
