Forestry project in petroleum Areas in GNPOC concession area and Petro-
energy E&P concession area (a project concerning with using treated produced
water for forestry plantation)
The main activities include:
Management of the project nurseries for seedling production needed for
plantations and bioremediation program (both tree seedling and reed
propagation)
Plantation of tree seedling using treated produce water.
Management of irrigation system used in planting sites
Management and rehabilitations of reed beds used to remediate water
produced with oil.

Management treated produce water to meet the national and
international standard levels which can be used for plantation and do
not influence the surrounding environment
Plantations of economically valuable trees in the forestry irrigated sites.
Plantations of economically valuable trees (gum Arabic) to compensate
part of trees areas removed during oil exploration, wells drilling and
road constructions.

Forests inspector Planning Department (statistic section) mainly the main
duties include:
Preparation of quarterly and mid and annual reports of the forests
national corporation (FNC) different activities.
Collaboration with different FNC department to analysis studies and
proposals data.
Preparation, entry and analysis different FNC related study data.
Collection, analysis and sort different related basic forests data.

Assistant forests inspector with forest national inventory (project) FNC (a
project funded by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nation
FAO) the main duties include:
Collection of different natural resources data from different parts of the
Sudan.
Using systematic sampling method in data collection .
Collect different natural resource data in specific forms prepared by
FAO (Food and Agriculture Organization).
Prepare the sample plotting in quarter million sheets with 10 km
between each sample.
Using global positioning system (GPS) techniques to reach to each
sample plot in the nature.
Entry the collected data in d-Base programme.
