Currently a student at King James 1 Academy I am a hardworking 16 year old who is looking
for work experience to go alongside my studies. I am an outgoing, confident person who will
put 100% effort into anything I do. At school I do extracurricular activities giving me an
ability to work well with other people. I have been part of a drama group called RTS Theatre
since 2011, giving me a good amount of confidence to speak to new people and deal well
under pressure. I was also part of a music club with the music department where I was part
of a band. We performed at the Gala Theatre in 2019 which helped me become more
creative. I feel I can take these qualities of working well in a team, being able to
communicate well with others and being adaptable to different environments with me into
a working environment.
Being part of the head girl and boy committee in school involves me coming up with
innovative ideas to help the school environment. Having this role shows I am a sensible
young person with a willingness to make changes for the better.
My future plan is to stay on at King James Sixth Form and study for my A Levels, having that
progression route into University and my chosen career. Gaining work experience now will
give me chance to put skills and qualities I have learnt at school into practice and will give
me that valuable experience from a real working environment.

Key Skills and Qualities

A confident and outgoing person, I am innovative and creative when it comes to tasks set. I
am an adaptable individual who will always be on time for organised events and to the
workplace. This is shown in my school attendance and punctuality records. I approach
situations with a positive attitude and am very open minded. I am very happy and
personable making me able to get on well with others, working well both as a team and on
my own when needed.

Hobbies and Interests

I am very interested in the performing arts and have been part of theatre since a very early
age. I am skilled in acting and also what comes alongside that such as using my imagination
and overcoming fears and anxiety when performing in front of others. I enjoy singing and
making music in general and has been a passion of mine for quite some time. I am also a fan
of reading and writing literature and this is one of my quieter hobbies. I love going on walks
with my friends and it helps me keep active.
