About you

themselves 1 by 1, please use the chat or microphone to tell me about
yourselves and your plans for the future)
• Any questions?
POINTS OF CONSIDERATION
• Attendance
• Break times
• This will be the key system and resource for us (we will all need access)
• Building up knowledge
• Formative assessments for this module will include a mini project proposal and
project timelines, as well as research skills activities and application material drafts.
Formative assessment does not contribute to the overall formal assessment for the
unit.
SUMMATIVE ASSESSMENT STRATEGY
• The module is assessed by a portfolio and negotiated mini project. The portfolio will
contain a personal skills assessment, application documentation, a career plan and
an updated Personal Development Plan.
• The mini project normally takes place within an organisation and provides an
opportunity for the student to develop and apply research skills. The project should
be agreed by the work experience provider/employer, module tutor and student.
