Biofuel crops are good for the environment because it reduces carbon dioxide emissions.

Normally,
burning fuels such as oil or gas release carbon dioxide into the air. Therefore, it contribute to the
problem call global warming. However, biofuel crops don’t suffer from the same problem because
when a tree grows, they absorb carbon dioxide from the air.

But on the other hand, growing biofuel crops can lead to decrease the food supply. Because most
crops used in biofuel production are also used as food such as corn and soybeans. Farmers find that
they can earn more by growing biofuels crops than food crops, so it lead to food shortages and
increasing food prices.

In brief, we should take a closer look at how biofuels work and sonsider some pros and cons.
