Kuwait International Airport is the only passenger serving international airport in Kuwait and
other both are bases for military purposes.

The company currently operates at 55 airports through emerging markets countries across Africa,
Asia and the Middle East, but in Kuwait NAS is just providing services to Kuwait International
Airport.

NAS Ramp Services carries out all the relevant Ground Support Equipment activities at flight
arrival and departure related to safely unloading and loading of passenger baggage, cargo and mail
within the confines of the carriers’ schedule.

Customer requirements dictate the scope of ramp handling services from an extensive menu of
NAS options that includes loading and off-loading, dispatch operations, load control, management
of unit load devices, baggage reconciliation, coordination with flights and documentation. A
resource management system, installed at all NAS operating bases, matches equipment and crew
resources to fluctuating needs, ensuring high-levels of response to all supported customers.

• Passenger services

NAS constantly provides proactive services to its customer airlines and in keeping with its mission
statement, places a significant emphasis on quality, service delivery and customer satisfaction. The
NAS Passenger Services team is available 365/24/7 ensuring the highest levels of customer service
and a seamless passenger experience is delivered on behalf of our client airlines in all aspects of
airport passenger handling.

• Cargo management

The NAS Cargo Management System comprehensively manages every aspect of a cargo business
from pricing, cargo operations, billing to supply chain management. This system has an interface
that assists in updating airline systems for the FSU messages as well as customs and financial
systems. The key features of our Cargo Management System are: Modular and flexible architecture
allowing deployment based on functionality, export cargo acceptance and documentation process;
which includes pre-acceptance, acceptance of documents, Air Waybill issue and after-acceptance
activities, export flight handling process; including lying list and load plan, interline, flight buildup
preparation, manifest, load documentation, offloads and flight closing, import flight handling
process; with flight manifest, flight documentation, flight finalization and import cargo delivery
process; including delivery planning, documentation delivery, customs clearance, after delivery
activities.

• Engineering and line maintenance

Dedicated engineering units perform services vital to on-time


turnarounds and departures, such as gate push backs of
commercial and military aircraft; scheduled maintenance of
motorized and non-motorized ground support equipment, and
maintenance of NAS facilities. The engineering department,
which includes an operation control center (OCC), is typically
located at an airport’s ramp area, giving the OCC the unique
advantage of visual contact with aircraft moving on the airfield.
The operational control center is fully equipped with
communications displays regarding flight schedules and
control tower information.
