1. General
1.1 Ensure Technical Log Book, Deferred Defect Log, Cabin Log Book and maintenance work
sheets are reviewed and completed as necessary.
Ensure selection of ventilation “EXTRACT” P/B to “AUTO’ if previous has been selected to
“OVRD”.
Ensure Flight Manual, Aircraft Certificate File and Logbooks are stowed on board aircraft.
1.2 Ensure All Stayover Check tasks have been certified. Append tick box in Technical Log Book
“STAYOVER” check, complete Signature and Lic/App Number.
CAUTION: UNSECURED COWLS CAN LEAD TO IN-FLIGHT COWL VIBRATION AND MAY CAUSE
SERIOUS DAMAGE ON ENGINES DURING FLIGHT.

1.3 Remove all Protective Covers and Blanks (if installed) before flight.
Ensure ALL Engine Cowls, especially Fan Cowls, are securely Locked and Flushed.
1.4 Perform a Pre-Departure Walk-Around Check for external surface condition.
1.5 Check Tires visually for evidence of Under-inflation.
1.6 Inspection and Reset ALL tripped circuit breakers in the Fwd and Aft Passenger Cabin.
Ensure that ALL the reset switches are pushed in
1.7 Start APU and switch on both Air Conditioning Packs to check for serviceability.
1.8 Check and makes sure ATSU router Service Provider (SP) selecvted to appropriate
SITA/ARINC router (AMM TASK 46-21-00-860-001-A).
CAUTION 1: WHEN SERVICING, ENSURE THAT THE OVERFLOW VALVE IS OPEN AS
INDICATED BY THE OVERFLOW VALVE OPEN LIGHT.
CAUTION 2: WHEN SERVICING WITHOUT ELECTRICAL POWER, MANUALLY OPEN THE
OVERFLOW VALVE BY TURNING THE TANK OVERFLOW HANDLE TO THE
“OPEN” POSITION. FAILURE TO ENSURE OVERFLOW VALVE BEING OPEN CAN
CAUSE TANK TO RUPTURE.
1.9 Ensure the Potable Water System service has been accomplished by GHA as required.
Ensure caps are fitted, panels are secured and no signs of residual water seepage from inside of
service panel after servicing accomplished.
1.10 Ensure the Toilet System service has been accomplished by GHA as required.
Check the Waste Quantity Indication at the Forward Attendant Panel for proper toilet
servicing. Ensure caps are fitted, panels are secured and no signs of residual fluid seepage from
inside of service panel after servicing accomplished
1.11 Visuall check for Engine Air Intakes for Foreign Objects.
1.12 Ensure Nose and Main Landing Gears Ground Lock Pins/Sleeves, if fitted, are removed and
stowed on board.
NOTE: Close the Technical Log Book entry that nose and main landing gears ground lock
pins/sleeves are removed.

1. 1.13 Obtain a Fuel Sample from the Refuelling Bowser and check for Presence of Water before
refueling.
1.14 Check that the Refuel-Coupling Cap is refitted, Magnetic Level Indicators and Fuelling Station
access door are stowed and secured. Ensure that the MODE SELECT switch is put to “OFF”
position and the refuel/defuel control panel is secured closed after refuelling/defueling procedure
accomplished.
1.15 Check ALL Doors and External Panels are secured.
Ensure No Damge has been caused by ground equipment.
1.16 Performed a Final Walk Around Check of external condition Prior to Aircraft Push-Back.
1.17 Ensure the parking area is clear for Aircraft Push-Back.
1.18 Ensure ALL Wheel Chocks removed prior to Push-Back.

1.19 Ensure Nose-Wheel Steering Bypass Valve placed in Bypass Position and Lock Pin installed
prior to Push-Back.
1.20 Remove Steering Bypass Pin after aircraft in position with ALL Ground Equipment removed
and makes sure lever on deactivation box back to Normal Position.
1.21 Record the following:
