Work Done-
The trainee arrived in the village of Choondari. The trainee arrived at the ICDS centre to
provide details regarding the visit. The ICDS worker informed that on Sunday the centre will
remain closed because of holiday then trainee requested ICDS worker to open it for the visit.
He complied with that demand. The trainee then met the ward representative and proceeded
to the neighbourhood to inform people about the visit. Ward member made sure that they
would help and cooperate. Ward member was showing full enthusiasm for that visit. The
trainee then proceeded to the village's main health facility. The doctor and the trainee met and
discussed it. The trainee then met dignitaries of community and young people. Also, the
trainee briefed them on the visit and requested their presence in the area.
After that, the trainee proceeded to school. An event called "Kahani Mela" was taking place
at the school, hosted by the Organization for Early Literacy Development (OELP). The
activity is intended for the students. The trainee then visited with the school's principal and
told him about the initiative. However, he stated that although we could bring students for the
programme, the school and teachers would not be present. A show featuring the artwork of
the students was shown as part of the curriculum. There were paintings, clay sculptures, and
craft pieces on display. The trainer went to the exhibition and praised the student’s efforts.
The trainee then approached the students and gave them information about the visit. There
were OELP officials there, and the trainee talked with them. The village's OELP trainer was
also present, and asked her to open the community library on visit day. Students arranged a
few programmes for the Kahani Mela, which included songs and dances. The trainee viewed
the shows.
Observation-:
Overall, the trainee seemed to be actively engaging with the community, seeking their
cooperation and involvement, and using various channels to inform and engage with different
groups, including community leaders, health workers, and students. The trainee's enthusiasm
and willingness to accommodate the community's needs, such as requesting the ICDS worker
to open the center on a holiday, and the OELP trainer to open the community library,
demonstrate a collaborative and respectful approach. The trainee's positive engagement with
the students and appreciation of their artwork suggests an interest in promoting education and
literacy development in the community.
Analysis-:

the worker to open the centre despite it being a holiday. They then met with the ward
representative and community dignitaries to inform them about the visit. Later, they visited a
school hosting an event called "Kahani Mela," where they praised the students' artwork and
gave them information about the upcoming visit, and spoke with OELP officials to open the
community library on the visit day. The trainee viewed the student performances during the
event.
Use of Skills and Theory-:

village. Firstly, they exhibited strong communication skills by effectively communicating
with the ICDS worker, ward representative, doctor, dignitaries, OELP officials, and students.
