Day-23
Time- 9am to 4pm

Plan of the day-

(1) Discuss the progress of the fund raising for the sports equipment with the headmaster
in the school in Nahoriya.

Objective-
(1) To talk with the school's headmaster about obtaining official approval from the school
before doing crowdsourcing
(2) To provide an update on the current progress of the fundraising for sports equipment
to the headmaster in the Nahoriya school.
Work Done-
The trainee and other fieldworkers had made the decision to organise a crowdsourcing
campaign to raise money to donate sporting goods to the school. Online posters and other
tools for conducting crowd financing were made by the trainee. The headmaster had stated
that while they would support the project, they could not accept responsibility or grant
written authorization for the event. The faculty supervisor advised against this because the
stakeholders need to be accountable, interested, and involved otherwise it could lead to a
number of problems down the road. In order to proceed with the crowd funding, the trainee
had a second conversation about this issue with the headmaster and asked him for a written
authorization. The headmaster refuted this, claiming that because they are a government
school, they are unable to provide written paperwork of such nature for extracurricular
activities. Due to this, the participants in the activity decided to stop, and crowd funding for
sporting goods was necessary as a requirement from the stakeholder for this kind of activity.
Observation-:
The village school cannot be held responsible or they are not willing to grant any form of
consent as a stakeholder for the programme. The PRA members of the community are not
cooperating in the fund-raising activities for providing sport equipment for the village.
Analysis-:
Trainees learned how to effectively carry out the need assessment and other steps for the fund
collecting since they had been working on this plan for many days. There are numerous ways
to raise money that can be utilised for a variety of purposes.
Use of Skills and Theory-:
For the purpose of raising money, the trainee applied abilities in resource mobilisation. The
trainee created posters using both technical and need assessment skills.
