post of Lecturer in your Polytechnic, as a Lecturer in the department of Food
Technology. I came across about this through a news paper named the punch, there you
have posted a vacancy requirement for this Post.
By Profession I am a Lecturer of Ibadan city Polytechnic for the period of two years. At
this moment I need to change my resident for my family reason. So I can’t continuing my
present job.
I had done my B.Ed after completion of my B.B.A in Nutrition from University of
Ibadan. Along with this letter I have attached my C.V. and all necessary documents,
Certificate and as well as work experience letters.

Background of study
The background of the study provides context to the information that you are discussing
in your paper. Thus, the background of the study generates the reader's interest in
research question and helps to understand why study is important. Typically, the
background of a study includes a review of the existing literature on the area of your
research, leading up to your topic. Once you have discussed the contribution of other
researchers in the field, you can identify gaps in understanding, that is, areas that have not
been addressed in these studies. 
Statement of Problems
A statement of the problem is used in research work as a claim that outlines the problem
addressed by a study. The statement of the problem briefly addresses the question: What
is the problem that the research will address? The ultimate goal of a statement of the
problem is to transform a generalized problem (something that bothers you; a perceived
lack) into a targeted, well-defined problem; one that can be resolved through focused
research and careful decision-making.
Research Question
A research question is a specific inquiry which the research seeks to provide a response
to. It resides at the core of systematic investigation and it helps you to clearly define a
path for the research process. A research question is usually the first step in any research
project. Basically, it is the primary interrogation point of your research and it sets the
pace for your work.  
Research Hypothesis
Hypothesis: an idea or explanation for something that is based on known facts but has not
yet been proved.
In other words, it’s a statement that provides an explanation for why or how something
works, based on facts (or some reasonable assumptions), but that has not yet been
specifically tested.

Research Objectives
Research objectives describe what your research project intends to accomplish. They
should guide every step of the research process, including how you collect data, build
your argument, and develop your conclusions.
Scope of the Study
The scope of a study explains the extent to which the research area will be explored in the
study and specifies the parameters within which the study will be operating. Thus, the
scope of a study will define the purpose of the study, the population size and
characteristics, geographical location, the time period within which the study will be
conducted, the theories that the study will focus on, etc. 
Limitation of the Study
The limitations of the study are those characteristics of design or methodology that
impacted or influenced the application or interpretation of the results of your study. They
are the constraints on generalizability and utility of findings that are the result of the ways
in which you chose to design the study and/or the method used to establish internal and
external validity.
Definition of Terms
Operational definition of terms refers to a detailed explanation of the technical terms and
measurements used during data collection. This is done to standardize the data. Whenever
data is being collected, it is necessary to clearly define how to collect the data. Data that
is not defined runs the risk of being inconsistent and might not give the same results
when the study is replicated
