intelligence is defined by IQ test, but it does not account for the incredibly wide assortment of abilities that humans display, Gardner decided we needed to broad the definition of “intelligence,” so he came up with his own list of multiple intelligences which describe the human condition better. The theory of multiple intelligences is divided into specific types, let’s take a look a these. Verbal/Linguistic people that display skills with words and languages. Logical-Mathematical intelligence, has to do with logic, abstractions, reasoning, and numbers. Visual/Spatial Intelligence people that learns well through visual things such as graphs, diagrams, pictures and colorful displays. Kinesthetic Intelligence excels in performing physical activities and body movements. Intelligences related to socialize are Interpersonal Intelligence, they have the ability to organize people activities and make social relationship. On the other hand, Intrapersonal Intelligence might be more introverted and aware of their own emotions. Musical Intelligence have a greater sensitivity to sounds, tones, and music. Naturalistic , love plants, animals and understand natural wolrd. After all this, if you are a student or a teacher, it’s important to know the different intelligences in order to know how to learn o how to teach in a better way.
