Course Description: Volleyball
Credit: 2 units

II. COURSE DESCRIPTION:


Physical Education 4 introduce the team games called Volleyball which aims to
understand the beauty of the game. To understand history and development of the
game also the given drills for every fundamental skill. This course tackles
fundamental skills ethic and etiquette, and tournament officials. This course helps
understand the nature of the game, rules, equipment, officials and how its help to our
physical, mental, social and mental aspects in life.

III. COURSE OBJECTIVES:


At the end of the trimester, students are expected to:
a. understand the history and development of volleyball;
b. know the hand signals and the officiating officials;
c. develop their physical, mental, social and emotional aspect;
d. identify the different equipment and facilities;
e. execute the basic passing, spiking, tossing and play the game.
