Why do you consider yourself as a lifelong learner?

Share your thoughts by citing your best

characteristics and experiences making you fit as one of the members of the new generation of
lifelong learners. Show your best self here my dear learners!

I am a lifelong learner because I never limit my learning horizon as change is the only
constant in life, according to Heraclitus, one Greek philosopher. During my baccalaureate
degree, the school taught us to be more prepared for teaching. But unfortunately, My teaching
standards and level of instruction are not suited for my Ips Leaners' level of learning, citing the
difficulties such as the language barrier and students' foundation of concepts. With this, I
attended seminars and training to make my teaching styles and approaches appropriate to
students learning. I started to develop and innovate things in teaching to meet the student context
of learning.

After a couple of years, the Pandemic commences, leading face-to-face learning to

transform into modular and online learning. It was a challenging part of uplifting and boosting
student learning, especially for those who live in remote and inaccessible areas. This encourage
us teachers to attend alternative and ICT integration teaching and learning seminars and training
that enables us to connect to students special needs.

Being a teacher is one of the difficult profession, we are not just teaching the concept and
improving the student skill set for the future, but we need to touch their lives to become a better
person on the society. I came to realized that teachers is the catalyst of change this means that we
need to learn, unlearn and relearn things as Teaching is the profession that teaches all other
professions (unkown).
