COMPANY PROFILE

This chapter focuses on the business details and other

information from the company's data, gathered by the students

researchers and the history of the company's successful , the

nature of the business and the classification of the market. In

this part of the study, contains the stories of how the company

started, how it manages their business grow and succeed and

what are the challenges the company has taken for its business

to grow and what types of strategies used to maintain their sales

and to make their business become successful to stay in the

market and still existence in the present day. This chapter aims

to shows as well the detailed information about the company's

MAN Approach Qualification.

2.1 Name of the Company

The Koronadal Commercial Center(KCC) started in

1947 as a textile store in Koronadal City. It was the time when


Koronadal was on its rapid commercialisation and became the

capital of South Cotabato. It then expanded in 1989 as a

supermarket and department store and branded as KCC

Shopping Center.

In 1992, KCC expanded their operations with their

second branch in General Santos City as KCC Warehouse Plaza,

which was later renamed as KCC Mall of GenSan in 1996. While

in year 2000, the KCC Shopping Center in Koronadal was then

became the KCC Mall of Marbel. In 2012, the Kainan sa KCC

was started made at the same time their branch in General

Santos City made an expansion of an additional 21,450 square

meters and was later called as Veranza by KCC or simply

Veranza Mall with an Al-Fresco dining strip, additional stores,

and an activity center.

With their growing profitability over the cities of

Koronadal and General Santos City, KCC then ventured for

their expansion in other cities within Mindanao. On December


10, 2015, KCC Mall De Zamboanga was opened and had set to

become the second largest mall in Mindanao in terms of GFA.

Last October 28, 2018, their fifth mall, KCC Mall of

Cotabato had ground broke on its 11 hectares prime lot area,

the design of the mall reveals that it has a 6 level malls. The

construction started last July 1, 2020. The target construction

period for the phase one (Mall Construction) is 20 to 24

months, due to pandemic the target date of opening is moved

to 2023 or 2024, after the completion of the mall, the

construction will proceed to phase 2 which is the construction

of 11 storey hotel and a convention center. Upon its

completion, KCC Mall of Cotabato will be the largest KCC Mall

on its opening date and the second largest mall in Mindanao.

The nature of the business operation used of

Kainan sa KCC was deals in goods and services to provides

customers with the good products and services that they

needed. Business operation are the activities that a company

performs everything that happens within a company to keep it

running and earning profit. Include a section dedicated to

operations so that company founders understand the systems,

equipment, people, and processes need to make the

organization function. The employees contribute to the

business operations by performing the specific tasks that


assign to them, even for in finance , production or in

marketing.

Kainan sa KCC one of the cheap and delicious fast

food restaurant in all malls that provides delicious foods and

good services to the customers and on of the good feedback

restaurant here in General Santos City. The business operate

Monday to Sunday , 10:00 Am to 9:00 Pm ; fulfilling the needs

of customers and employees , especially for those people who

do not have time to cook their food.

The MAN approach qualification system helps the

business determine the prospect and potential customer by

evaluating their budget , decision-making power, and points

that related to the product or service being offered. Profit

related to the financial ability to purchase the product , while

authority to make the purchasing decision. The salesperson

was try to understand the specific problem and their approach

to meet the prospects needs. But if you go after the “NEED”

person the call should be positioned around influencing them


to make the right noises with the people who can make the

decisions to go with your product etc.

The approach helps the company to ensure that

salesperson spend their time and resources efficiently ,

focusing prospects who are more likely to convert into

customers. The company need to identify the prospects

budget for the product or service being offered to determine

the decide pricing of the products. This information helps them

taitor in their approach and present the product or service in a

way that highlights its value and how it fits with their budget,

and also helps them to know if their budget is low or enough

to used for their business.

This part aims to provide the money and ability to buy

information in Kainan sa KCC, purchasing power is the value of

a currency expressed in terms of the number of goods or

services that one unit of money can buy. It can weaken over

time due to inflation. The rising prices effectively decrease the

number of goods or services you can buy. The money are


durability, portability, divisibility, uniformity, limited supply,

and acceptability.

The money and ability to buy depends on the cost of

goods and services. The owner in a small business who wants

to purchase a new equipment for their business may have a

limited money and ability to buy if the cost of the equipment

low or high. The business owner need to explore financing

option can also impact the ability to buy, the ability to

purchase goods and services. The value of money in terms of

what it can buy at a specified time compared to what it could

buy at some period established as a base.

The Kainan sa KCC estimated gross sales or income

per month can be broken down into five different classes, each

with its own range of figures. Class A, which is the top tier, is

expected to earn between 150,000 pesos to millions per

month. Class B, on the other hand, is estimated to bring in

between 120,000 pesos to 150,000 pesos. Meanwhile, Class C

is predicted to earn a gross income of 100,000 pesos to


120,000 pesos per month. Class D falls on the lower end of the

spectrum with a range of 80,000 pesos to 100,000 pesos.

of 50,000 pesos to 80,000 pesos
