JOB RESPONSIBILITY: MANAGER - QUALITY

 Planning and budgeting for the Quality Program in accordance with the Vision, Mission and Polices
of the Hospitals and aligning with the policies of the Quality Program.
 Initiating various appropriate activities towards external accreditation programs, external quality
monitoring programs in coordination with the hospital Quality assurance policy.
 Liaising and periodic updating of the Quality Assurance Program and activities within the
organization.
 Define the frequency of the meetings of quality committee members and conducting the meetings
accordingly.
 Procuring resources for the quality improvement activities.
 Identifying, initiating, monitoring, reviewing and modifying the quality improvement activities.
 Identifying key indicators for the clinical and non-clinical structure, process and outcomes.
 Developing quality assurance manuals of clinical and non-clinical departments by taking inputs and
policy/processes from the concerned department head in accordance with the accreditation
agencies.
 Develop / adopt auditing tools, Develop/ adopt auditing schedules for such key indicators.
 Implement the hospital quality accreditation agencies recommendations in coordination with the
quality program, monitoring for the expected improvements, modify the structure, process and
documentation if necessary to obtain expected outcomes and further improve the same.
 Manage the data related to CQI and periodically submit the same to COO and accreditation
agencies (when applicable)
 Identifying needs and acting as resource for smooth functioning of the quality assurance initiatives.
 Identifying training and education needs of the quality assurance department associates and
addressing the same either through internal and/or external resources.
 Periodic self-evaluation, peer-review, review by quality program and/or external review in
coordination with the quality assurance parameter and as per HR policy for its operational
appropriateness.
