Write an essay (at least 300 words) about your experiences and
learnings in Math 100.
Studying in a blended learning environment is still difficult because a completely
new learning environment is brought to us suddenly. Although the combination of online
learning and face-to-face interaction may seem handy, there are several limitations that
can cause us to have learning difficulties that we can't always control. Online learning is
challenging for a variety of reasons, including unstable and unreliable internet
connections, technical issues with the platforms and software that are used, limited access
to technology, and the physical environment that each of us has in our own homes. F2F
classes do not have these issues, which we are very happy about and grateful for because
it lessens the issues that we face in online classes. However, blended learning is made
feasible for those who can able thanks to the combined efforts of students, teachers, and
professors. Since the pandemic, statistics and numbers have been constantly splashed on
the news, which emphasizes how crucial it is to always handle these numbers honestly
and accurately. Indeed, mathematics is a part of every day life; we have been exposed to
it since we were young.

As nursing students, rationality and logic are both crucial and important, and mathematics
in the modern world teaches us how to use both to their fullest potential. We learned
about how mathematics is present everywhere and works wonders during the first half of
the semester. This course served as a good reminder to value the things we frequently
take for granted and to remember that mathematics is more than just a useful instrument
for solving challenging problems.

Both natural and man-made structures exhibit mathematical developments and features.
Undoubtedly, this field can help nursing students on their path to becoming professionals
that deal with numbers and patients.

Due to the pandemic's delay, this subject acted as a refresher course throughout the
semester for those of us who had not studied math in a while. Despite the fact that
mathematics might seem hazy, it has the ability to explain how complex issues are
solved.

In this course, the same teachings that were covered in General Mathematics and
Statistics and Probability in senior high school were faced once more, but with better and
more accurate scenarios applied in the practice problems. Today's news frequently use
statistics, a tool for managing data, when discussing the pandemic and other economic
difficulties. Relearning the lessons helped us to better comprehend the circumstance we
are in right now.
Analysis of variance, as well as mean, median, and mode, are among the topics covered.
It also taught us how to digitally organize data using Microsoft Excel, which we will
undoubtedly use in the future. Many of the challenges were based on true events, making
them more interesting and enjoyable to solve.

The strategies and lessons taught throughout the semester deal with data and aid in the
assessment of concepts, the verification of hypotheses, and the determination of reality.
Even though the numerical truth can be easily distorted, if we understand the lessons
learned in this case, we can quickly reveal it. Because data is so widely recorded and
stored in the digital era, there is always more to organize and analyze.

In modern world Math is not a subject but a necessity for people. To live in modern era is
being friend with Math.
