1. Note: This is an open book, open notes exam.

2. For, this IPR +ID paper, open a fresh MS Word file and name it as
Program_Course_Name_Roll No. The file name will look like this:
PGDM_LAW_ITL_Ashish_2019001.
3. Start typing answers for questions in the word file. Ensure you keep saving your
word file periodically.
4. Keep your laptop & mobile in charging all through for live streaming of your
video & answer sheet loading.
5. After you finish your paper, you have to upload the answer sheet via teams’
assignment option.
6. Please adhere to the time-limit strictly. Any submission after 1.20 PM will be
considered as late submission and appropriate deduction of marks will be
applicable.
7. The total duration of the paper includes 15 minutes for the submission process.

following questions:

What are the challenges in delivery? Do you propose any change for betterment of
service delivery? (5 Marks)

2. Answer any two questions from the following. Write in bullet points.

(i) Why could the current modal share estimates of transport may not be accurate?
Explain briefly (5). Why is there a thrust from the government to increase the share
of rail? (5)

(ii) Discuss five major challenges faced by the Indian maritime sector? (5) What are the
recent initiatives taken by the government to attract investments in the maritime
sector? (5)

(iii) What is the role/importance of aviation sector in cargo movement? What type of
cargo is carried by air? (5) Does air compete with other modes of transport for
passenger traffic? Give examples (5)
