Manager/Senior Manager, Business Development (2 posts)

The One Health Trust is looking to hire Manager/Senior Manager, Business Development, a full-
time position based in Bangalore. The individual must be detail oriented, with strong written and
oral communication skills. They will lead and manage the business development portfolio for the
organization.

Roles and Responsibilities

➢ Manage donor relations & strategic fundraising partnerships


➢ Develop and execute CSR programs as well as conducting periodic program reviews to
assess outcomes and effectiveness
➢ Develop a sustainable model for flow of resources that will support ongoing and future
projects
➢ Identify market segments for business development potential & cultivating relationship
management
➢ Scale up projects, in terms of quality, quantity, and geographical reach
➢ Drive budget & monitoring spending to deliver results in line with planned objectives
➢ Ensure financial resources are made available as required for the smooth functioning of
programs
➢ Co-design project frameworks and monitoring mechanisms to achieve project objectives as
set out in agreements, and optimize project outcomes through innovative thinking and
cross-collaborations
➢ Track project progress through frequent review calls, field visits, interaction with different
stakeholder groups
➢ Ensure thorough documentation for all projects by organizing and maintaining project data
collated through periodic reports, field visits, and ongoing interactions with the project
team

Requirements

➢ Experience in business development/sales/public relations


➢ Demonstrated experience in raising funds
➢ Prior role in managing relationships with public and private sectors, community-based
organizations, non-profit and civic leadership, and program beneficiaries
➢ Ability to navigate the complex relationships between social, technical, programmatic, and
legal/regulatory requirements would be preferred
➢ Ability to work autonomously, and make independent decisions, with strong accountability
and responsibility
➢ Knowledge of the rules and regulations governing charities, IPCs (Institutions of Public
Character), and best practices for CSR will be an advantage
➢ Adequate knowledge of social issues in the Indian context and support schemes rolled out
by the Central/ State governments will be an advantage
➢ Handle communication and legal agreements
➢ Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (ex. salesforce)
➢ Proficiency in English
➢ BSc/BA in business administration, sales, or relevant field
