Have you ever wanted to be really talented but not have to work hard all the

time?
When we see a recital or a championship, people have a bias in favor of people
who they believe are gifted.. It might be that when we don’t see all the practice it
takes to become really good at something. It’s easier to believe that the
performer must be extra talented or have supernatural abilities. Think about it, if
the only time you see world-class swimmers is every four years during the
Olympics, it’s hard to comprehend how normal people could achieve such high
levels of performance.
The reality is that no matter how talented you are, if you want to be good at
something, it takes a lot of practice and hard work. An specialist called F. David
Stanley commented that “Great athletes are hard workers. Points, rebounds,
assists, tackles, goals, and home runs are all the result of long hours of
painstaking practice and hard work. The bulk of that practice will always be on
your own, away from the coach. Victory is brought to pass by one’s personal
diligence and commitment to hard work. The view of a champion, and the glory
that surrounds him, must never be overshadowed by the long process of
becoming one. There is a time of preparation and a time of victory. The second
mile of hard work is what makes the difference between the exhilaration of
achievement and the acceptance of mediocrity.”
The famous basketball player Michael Jordan said in one occasion: I have
missed more the 9 thousand shots in my career. I have lost almost 300 games.
On 26 occasions I have failed over and over and over again in my life. And that
is why I succeed.
Is true that people have different talents and that a few talented people could
make a huge difference in society or in an organization. On the other hand, hard
work can get you anywhere, no matter where you come from. So far we’ve
made a big deal about working hard and not being blinded by talent. This could
leave you thinking that to be successful, all you need to do is work hard.
Working hard is definitely a key ingredient in success but you also need to work
smarter with focus, you need a grit. It’s not just work but It’s about having
enough passion for something that it will drive you to persevere through
problems and disappointments.
In conclusion Finally, hard working to finish the race or endure to the end give
you the success in your path to achieve your goals. Having talents give you a
head start in your path. So.
Which is more important: Talent or Hard work?
