Help registering for EarlyON programs
How to find and register for an EarlyON program using our Children’s
Services Portal.
This information will help you:

• Easily create an account to manage your program registrations.

• Access EarlyON program calendars.
• Check in and out online for in-person programs.

The following sections provide you with step-by-step instructions for creating an account and
registering for programs.
Create an account and register for a program

Once you’ve found a program, you’ll need to create an account to register.

We’ll keep your information private and EarlyON staff will only use your contact information for
program purposes.

1. Go to the Children’s Services Portal and select ‘EarlyON Child and Family Centres’.

2. Select ‘Sign In’ and then select ‘Create an account’.

3. Enter your information and finish by selecting ‘Create Account’.

4. An email will be sent to you to confirm your account information within 24 hours. If you do
not confirm within 24 hours, you’ll need to go to the Children’s Services Portal and select
‘Forgot Password’ to receive another email.

5. You may need to pre-register for some programs. To pre-register, sign into your account.

6. Find the program you want to pre-register for and select the number of adults and children
who will attend.

7. Select ‘Pre-Register'. The first time you pre-register for a program you will need to fill out
the Pre-Registration form. The information you enter will be saved for future pre-
registrations.

8. Select ‘Save’.

Tip: Under ‘My Pre-registrations’ you have the option to edit or remove your pre-
registrations.

Find an EarlyON program

1. Go to the Children’s Service Portal.

2. Select ‘EarlyON Child and Family Centres’.

3. Select ‘Calendar’ to view programs.

 4. Select the magnifying glass icon to search for programs and locations.

Tip: If using the calendar on your computer (not mobile device), you can change the calendar to
show programs by day, week, or month.

5. Type the program name or location in the search bar or choose location, program name,
age of children, or virtual events from the drop-down menus.

6. Select ‘search’ or ‘reset’ to clear search.

7. Double click or tap on a program to see more details.

Checking-in to in-person programs

1. Each EarlyON location will have a kiosk available with a QR code. Open your phone’s
camera app and scan the QR code. If you don’t have a cellphone, tap the kiosk tablet screen
to log in.

3. Select the program you are checking in to.

4. select the adults and children who are attending the program. Scroll down and select
‘Check-in’.

Checking-in for virtual programs
1. Log in to your account on the Children's Services Portal and select ‘Check-in’.

2. Select the site and program you are attending.
