10 Lay the patient on his back straighten the body and limbs,

exposure and wash face, neck, nose etc. pack nose and
ear with cotton.
13 Replace of dentures if any, tie bandage under chin to
keep mouth closed.
14 Braid hair, sponging the body, apply powder or oil
according desired by relative
15 Pack the vagina and rectum, in case of female
16 Replace dressing and secure with adhesive if dressing
present. Remove drainage tube and cover with
appropriate dressing and secure
17 Put on the patient own clothing, tie the wrists together
across the chest and tagging with one ID
18 Tie the ankle and above knees with bandage.
19 Wrap the body with the sheet covering face limbs feet
securely, if necessary, place in a plastic and secure 2nd ID
Card
20 Collect all waste material in the plastic bag and make the
unit clean & tidy.
21 Remove gloves, gown, apron after washing in bleaching
solution, and wash hand
22 Be sure the death certificate written correctly and instruct
to collect according to hospital policy.
23 Make Necessary arrangement to hand-over dead body to
the relative according to hospital policy.
