    “MULTIMEDIA”

    —News paper was first and foremost mass communication


    —it used text, images, graphics
    —major source of information for the people
    —afterwards motion pictures radio and television were new
    media in 20th century
    —this entire media changed whole world of mass
    communication
    —mixing of media creats multimedia

    “ICT”
    — Is the technology required for information processing,
    in particular, the use of electronic computers,
    communication devices and software applications to
    convert, store, protect, process, transmit and retrieve
    information from anywhere, anytime.
