It is my pleasure to highly recommend Jaime Jones to you. As her

College Supervisor, I have been very impressed with her overall professional
teaching performance.

In regard to classroom management, Jaime provided students with clear

expectations. She was firm when necessary; however, she approached students in
a caring, enthusiastic way. In her classroom, success was regularly celebrated, and
students were provided with ample positive feedback.

During her student teaching experience, Jaime created engaging lessons that
included manipulatives, hands-on experiments, partner work, developmentally
appropriate videos, and examples/non-examples. She connected new material to
previously learned concepts, utilized strategies that provided all students the
opportunity to participate in discussions, and consistently used formative
assessment to gauge progress. In regard to technology, Jaime used tools such as
the Remind app to communicate with parents, Planbook to organize her lessons,
Kahoot to formatively assess, and PowerSchool to record attendance.

Jaime consistently sought feedback and collaborated with other professionals in

her building to ensure she met the needs of her diverse group of learners. Jaime
demonstrated confidence and maturity in all of her interactions with students and
staff. She participated in parent-teacher conferences, staff meetings, professional
development opportunities, and grade level meetings.
