I am writing to apply for the posting of an elementary teacher position for the
school year of 2023-2024 at ____________. Your school district has a high
reputation of academic excellence in the Wexford/Missaukee ISD. With my
background and experience in teaching so far, I believe I would be a valuable

At Baker College, I will be completing my Bachelors degree in Elementary

Education in May 2023 along with passing my MTTC exam that certifies me in
teaching kindergarten through fifth grade. I have performed above and
beyond expectations- both in terms of classwork along with being the lead in
the classroom assigned to me.

During my student teaching, I had the opportunity of teaching in fourth grade

at Marion Elementary. During this time, I was the lead teacher with a class of
33 students that had a variety of personalities and learning styles. This allowed
me to utilize my skills in differentiation. I have strong experience in classroom
management, communication and organization. My abilities to utilize new
ideas and concepts and towards dedication towards children would be of
great benefit to your school.
