Educational philosophies are something that all teachers will need to think of and keep

for themselves. It is a philosophy that they will stick with in their own classrooms and will

follow throughout their career. Educational philosophy is something that is significant with

teaching and is important to keep in mind throughout the career and to not let anybody else

influence your beliefs. My educational philosophy is made up of three beliefs that I take

personally and will keep with me throughout my career.

My first educational philosophy is that all children should be presented in a classroom

environment that will guide them to grow physically, mentally, emotionally, and socially. These

components I will strive for by using the six keys in my classroom. I would like to provide my

students with the ability to have fun and enjoy the class and to make sure they feel loved and

belonging. I want my students to feel safe, be successful, and have their freedom and

independence in the classroom. Then finally, I would like my students to feel the valued purpose

they have in my classroom. These six components are significant in the classroom setting and

will help fulfill the students and help them grow physically, mentally, emotionally, and socially.

My second philosophy that I am going to follow in the classroom is to present each

student with the opportunity for success. I believe that when I enter any classroom as the teacher,

that I enter with only the highest expectations for every student in the classroom. I will aim to

provide all the resources I have for my future students and I will pursue to help them achieve the

goals that are presented in the class. I will dedicate my time to learn from each student and build

relationships with them to make sure my teaching is at its best and will provide them with all that

I can. I will not enter the classroom with a mindset that the students will not be able to make it

through the classroom. I will work as hard as I can for the benefits of each student. I will learn

about each student to gather which way is best to teach each individual student in my classroom.
My third educational philosophy is making sure to prepare the student not only for the

next grade, but for future classes and life ahead. I will provide the students real life scenarios

when the opportunity presents itself. I will make sure that each student has a goal and strive to

fulfill that goal by the end of the year. Make sure to set up checkpoints with each goal to make

sure we are achieving these goals. I will present hands-on activities and have as many interactive

learning experiences so students have that understanding they deserve. Students deserve to see

proper leadership from their teachers. I hope to build those relationships and provide the most I

can for the students helping them develop proper independence and problem solving skills.

In conclusion, building your educational philosophy is significant prior to becoming a

teacher. It is important to stick with what you believe for the benefit of your students. I have

created my three educational philosophies based on what I believe is best for my future students

and for every class that I teach in the future. I strive to be the best teacher I can be in hoping to

provide for my students the six keys in the classroom and aim for the importance of relationships

in the classroom. Keeping these philosophies in mind when looking for a teacher career in the

future will be significant.
