    1) The poem evokes a mood of Joy and sheer delight. I pictured a rowdy, cheerful party
    taking place, with endless singing.

    Pool Party

    Mom and dad began to sing


    A hearty joyous tune
    “Nothing better to start this party”
    That was what I assumed

    We flipped and jumped and splashed


    Even though it was cold
    We danced to loud music
    But truth be told
    The fun was about to unfold…
