    I was excited to learn about the vacancy at Ascension Providence Hospital for the Infection Preventionist position
    posted on ZipRecruiter, and I would like to thank you for your consideration. The focus on making a positive
    impact in the community makes Ascension stand out from other research based centers. I believe that given the
    opportunity, I would be a substantial resource for the company.

    Recently, I have wanted to explore new opportunities in research and development since completing my
    bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering, focused on Biomedicine, from Michigan State University while
    minoring in Global Public Health and Epidemiology. Along the way, I have held an assortment of responsibilities
    which I believe match the description of the position. For me, Ascension is the ideal place of employment
    because the important values match my ability to focus on problem solving, collaboration and teamwork, and
    critical thinking skills.

    My experience in becoming a Biomedical Engineer has taught me to constantly explore new options for
    discovery. At TRIMEDX, as an intern, I was responsible for generating, analyzing, and sharing results from the
    research of cellular anomalies. I was involved in multiple studies of DNA genomes and the impact of quickly
    changing and mutating viruses in humans. My time with the biotechnology company prepared me for in-depth
    research that, as my resume shows, closely resembles the types of analysis conducted at Ascension.

    I am confident that I can bring a unique skill set to Ascension projects and enclosed is my resume for your review.
