WASTE MANAGEMENT IN ODIONGAN

I. INTRODUCTION

As the general public knows, we people have necessities; necessities that we consume every
day. Once these necessities are no longer needed or used, they later turn into waste – waste that
gets dumped everywhere and turns into what’s known as pollution. Since wastes have an
unhealthy effect for the environment, the government needs to take action and reduce it in every
way possible.

A. Opening Statement

Waste is an inevitable consequence on towns especially in bigger cities that has vast
population. In this topic, we will be specifically looking unto the management of waste in
Odiongan.

B. Thesis Statement

In this research, I will be discussing how our locality/municipality manages to avoid waste
pollution and how they maintain the cleanliness of the town.

II. BODY
A. Garbage Trucks
The government has arrayed garbage trucks for the municipality to collect the trash of
every household to ensure proper disposal of waste.

B. The “Go-Green Odiongan” Project


An organization organized by the local government. Its goal is to promote environmental
awareness by encouraging people to use biodegradable products like tote bags, plant trees,
and keep their surroundings clean.

C. Community Cleanup
Citizens will volunteer to clean up streets or certain places to maintain cleanliness in
exchange for money

III. CONCLUSION
A. Recap Thesis
The municipality of Odiongan has arranged many programs to solve the waste
management issues of the town.
B. Summarize Argument
Waste management can take on many forms. Each town or city will have a different
approach to managing waste in their respecting places. In Odiongan, these are: 1The
use of garbage trucks, 2The “Go-Green Odiongan” project, 3Community cleanup.
