GUIDE FOR NEW STUDENTS

TO CREATE UNS EMAIL

Students are required to have a UNS email. This email is very essential
for your study because it is used for:
1) Online registration in the beginning of every semester
2) Making study plan/selecting subjects that you want to take in a
semester
3) Access to online classes conducted by lecturers
To create an UNS email, follow the steps below:
1. Access http://profil.uns.ac.id .

2. Find menu Aktivasi Email and choose Aktivasi Email Student .

3. Insert your NIM (Student Number) and PIN that have been provided, type the
captcha code, and then click Lanjut.

4. Make a username and password, and insert your phone number. Phone
number must include country code, but remove the +. For example 62 for
Indonesia, 62813xxxxxxxx. Then click Aktifkan.
5. If successful, a notification like this will appear.

6. Now go to Gmail and Login. Use the username and password of your UNS
mail

.
7. A page like this will appear. Click Enroll.

8. Re-login to your email.

9. Type your currently used phone number. Click Next.

10. A code will be sent to your phone. Insert the code. Click Next.
11. This page will appear. Click Turn on.

12. It’s done. Now, everytime you log in to your UNS mail from a
new device, Google will send you verification code to your
phone.
