Task
Below you can find tasks, that will help you test your knowledge in Moments. Challenge yourself to make your
job a bit easier in the future!

STEP 1 Create a single person profile.

Login to the Portal with your user credentials. Navigate then to the People module and create your person
profile.

As contact information input:

1. Your phone number and email address

2. Your first and last name, city, and birth date
3. Under Person type choose customer

Leave other optional information (tags and custom attributes) blank.

It is recommended to put your own phone number and email address which will be later used for product
testing.
STEP 2 Send an SMS to yourself via Broadcast

To send an SMS to yourself via Broadcast, follow these steps:

1. Log in to the Portal using your user credentials

2. Navigate to the Moments module and select Communications, then choose Broadcast
3. Select yourself as the recipient
4. Choose a sender
5. Enter your message
6. Send the SMS message

STEP 3 Create and send campaign to yourself via Flow

Use case: Create an SMS campaign with a link to any web page. After receiving an SMS and clicking on the link,
an email campaign should be triggered.

To send a campaign to yourself via Flow, follow these steps:

1. Log in to the Portal using your user credentials

2. Navigate to the Moments module and select Communications, then choose Create Flow
3. Select Start from scratch and choose Predefined Audience as an entry point
4. Select yourself as a recipient
5. Create an SMS message that includes a link to a web page of your choice. (Under advanced settings, don't
forget to put a checkmark on the Track URL clicks option)
6. After creating an SMS message, add the Wait for an event element and choose SMS Link Clicked as the
condition
7. If SMS Link Clicked happens, send an email. If not, exit the flow.
 Add Send Email element
 Pick a sender name and email
 Enter a subject and create a custom email with a heading, image, text, button and footer
8. Name your campaign, launch it and test it!
