Purpose

The following report has been created to give suggestions on how the funding the science
club has received from the school board will be invested to ensure the further development
of the club.

National Science Olympiad

Firstly, I believe that every highly competitive and ambitious science team should participate
in the annual National Science Olympiad. Conducted at the end of each academic year, NSO
provides students with the opportunity to compete in more than 20 fields of science. This
experience will be extremely valuable for our team as it will allow us to connect with other
highly motivated and successful students.

Lab Coach

Secondly, in order for our team to perform fabulously at NSO, we will need a coach actively
conducts research to explore problematic areas of science. I have already discussed the
topic with two great professionals from the Sofia Tech Park laboratories, who would be
eager to train our team for national competitions.

STEM Swift Academy subscriptions

Lastly, I believe that a valuable supplement to our competition preparation would be the
STEM Swift Academy online platform. The application provides students with 3D models and
visualisations to demonstrate the practical application of the concepts. That is why having
personal subscriptions for the platform will refine both our theoretical knowledge and
practical skills.

Conclusion

One of the key factors that is going to lead to the improvement of our team, is receiving
professional preparation and competing nationwide to build a reputation for our school. I
believe the best way to achieve this is by applying the suggestions listed above.
