Summer field trip

Nhật (teacher): This summer our class will take a field trip. Where should we go?

Toàn: I’d like to suggest visiting Hoi An ancient town. It’s an example of a well-preserved Southeast
Asian trading port. It is characterized by a harmonious blend of Vietnamese, Chinese, and Japanese
architecture: temples, houses, pagodas, and bridges,… The town has many attractions such as Chua Cau,
Cua Dai beach, ancient homes, Hoi An river, and especially the “Hoi an’s memories” show.

Nhật: And the cuisines here are very delicious too. Very well. Does anyone have other places to go?

Ngọc: I love nature and it’d be more interesting to travel to Ha Long Bay. It’s well-known for its beautiful
scenery. We can explore the island, visit Its dreamlike landscape of limestone karsts and emerald water,
and see the giant rocks…. The seafood here is excellent at a reasonable price, too.

Khiêm: I prefer Ngoc’s idea. We can go sea swimming or boat riding, which is super fun in summer. Hoi
An might be too hot if we visit it in summer. And we can also see the sunrise and sunset. I believe it will
be fantastic. In addition, we’ve been to Hoi An before, haven’t we?

Toàn: Yeah, you’re right.

Nhật: So everyone has decided to go to Ha Long Bay? I’ll set up a tour. But it’s summer’s story. We have
to focus on studying first.

Toàn, Khiêm, Ngọc: yes sir!
