Despite a huge population of Catholicism and other Christian denominations,
superstitions in the 21st Century Philippines remains prevalent. Not only it continues to give a problem in terms of religion, it raises a lot of questions in the field s of anthropology, psychology, politics, most especially in philosophy. The aim of this study is to give resolutions o from the irrational practices, offerings, sacrifices, rituals, etc. of superstitions using the lens of philosophy, particularly by using the methods of critical theory in a historical approach.
